19 Weeks!

Aos poucos vou regressando.
Este crescimento, meu e do bebé, consome-me o tempo e a energia.
Faltam 21! Mal posso esperar...

Slowly I'm returning.
This growth, mine my babys, it's consuming me the time and energy. This lethargy is good and very sweet. I'm not one of those women who finds pregnancy a magical time, but i miss feeling this way.
I 'm also gradually preparing myself for this new adventure. I don't know what is to have another child. My experience is Mafalda, and this baby is not another Mafalda and "1 +1 = 2" is not a true logical sentence! It's all new again!
Everything has been new. Some say you don't live pregnancy twice the same way,  and could not be more true to me.
Starting with the surprise factor, which this time caught me by surprise a little less, though by the time i was thinking I was getting pregnant i was already pregnant, but the truth is that this baby could not have been more desired.
Then there is still to consider the fact that a first pregnancy ends up being easier, because there are no other children in need of our attention, and getting over all those sick sensations and fatigue without neglecting the attention of others, can be, many times, exhausting.
The third major difference is that I am working and I have a routine that does not forgive and I do not have the same age, although I can not complain much, things are not quite the same!
All this together resukts in the fact that I often try to find  forces where i do not have them and exceed my limits and them i end up with a detachment of the amniotic sac, which was largely responsible for my absence. Too much rest and mental gymnastics have been and continue to be a great solution to this problem, that as time goes by is finally resolved.
Yet it is difficult to assume that there are limitations, there are things I can not do. This loss of autonomy hinders me the days pass, more in my head than on the course of routine. I am used to doing everything, when I want and how I want, I like the feeling of not relying on anyone, although it is a false sensation. We are not islands. And I'm no exception.
But i have a great companier, tirelessly and endlessly patient, and of course a family like no other, that serves me emotional support, and tells me it will all be okay and that vibrates with me in my joy when the doctor tells me, finally, that the worst is over.
There are now nineteen weeks of new things, many emotions and concerns. Many changes are too slow to be seen now but will be huge. I feel this baby moving in my belly, and i keep wondering how  this almost 300gr of people can change so much the lives of those who are expecting it?
19 weeks passed. 21 to go! Can not wait ...
